I contacted Bosch service centre to make a warranty claim for repair and was informed no engineers were available for 7 days??! I was informed we should contact customer services after the repair for a refund of these costs. I had some issues with a washing machine from a different company, so had some concerns in buying a new machine. Called Bosh and they answered all my questions, so I knew which machine to buy. Sometimes hard to get through the auto switchboard to the right person. The metal filter of kitchen extractor has been faulty and could not be removed by the owner for cleaning creating bad odour.

About 20 mins into the program I heard a crack and went to investigate. I could see cracks on the inner glass of the door. I turned off the oven and waited for it to cool, before it would unlock.

I was also informed by the engineer that attended site the 7 day service time was a direct result to the local Bosch Engineer falling through his ceiling after a loft conversion. Bosch, instead of hiring in additional resources to cover this period the engineer will be out of work , have decided to leave families without an oven for 7 days. We are a global leader in large and small home appliances, specialising in eco-friendly technology, our products are invented for life. Upon contacting customer services I have been informed Bosch do not compensate in this manner and we will not be getting any of the £300 spent on eating out during the 7 days.

Hi, We recognise you were unhappy with our after sales service. Your comments are important to us and help us to improve our customer experience. Your feedback has been passed on to the relevant line managers to address any training issues internally. We would hope you will notice an improvement in your recent experience if you contact us again. I have requested they retrieve the calls with the service centre, and asked for a copy. If required I shall pursue them further plus all additional costs for travel to eateries, lost holiday due to waiting for the engineer etc.

Upon investigating further, I could see the glass had shattered and part of it was inside the oven. I have also submitted another query via their website on 17th May but again, after chasing it on the 18th still no response (it’s the 21st today). Only issue I had with my new machine, was that the installer did not leave the transit bolts with me. I’m a white goods engineer who is very familiar with the design fault that causes this. It is really great to hear that our service has been efficient and we will make sure these comments are passed on to the relevant departments so that they are recognised. We really wish you all the best going forward, though please be assured we are always here to help.

The oven was not actually that dirty as we use a drip tray and this was removed prior to the program starting, along with the metal grills. I have spoken to an Adviser with a query about couple of appliances .

Fridge and Freezer not cooling, unit has never worked. John Lewis refuses to collect the damaged item till Bosch engineer looks at it to so say, yes it doesn’t work, then JL will collect it. In 2018 Bosch pampered engineers only work 7am till 5 pm and one weekend in five. I can’t take a day off work to sit home waiting, so I have to wait till the 28th July so Bosch can confirm it doesn’t work. We have a always purchased BOSCH but the products are not the quality they once were.

However after he left the Fridge stopped working. Very disappointing that it takes 2 weeks to get an Engineer back. Despite speaking to customer services and emailing my frustration no-ne offered to help beyond saying it was the first available visit. Poor to say the least when the initial fault was not cured properly. Hi Maggie, we're sorry to hear of the experiences you received with our customer services. We do hold our service to a high standard and it is always disappointing when we see that we have not given this level of service.

All Bosch appliances have a two year manufacturer's warranty as standard to protect against any manufacturing and material faults and defects during this warranty period. I would not recommend Bosch appliances to anyone and would def advise all Bosch Oven owners not test out your self clean until after xmas. I have come back to Trust Pilot to update my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.

No follow up call from the service department, despite that being promised 'within 4 hours' after I wasted ¼ of an hour on the phone to them yesterday morning. No more from the concerned-sounding Social Media Manager, so their involvement is clearly just a sop. Meanwhile I am stuck with an unusable £700 machine waiting for an appointment ("between 7am and 6pm") in another week's time. To register your appliance online for its two year manufacturer's warranty, please create a MyBosch account, or log in to your MyBosch account if you already have one. 15/7 Bosch customer service asked for my details - I sent them - the6 never came back to me.
